Q: Both MANKIND LIBERATION FRONT and NEW WORLD REVOLUTION have names implying political upheaval -- why?
A: "I definitely think we collectively need to organize and set things straight in order to grant further existence to our species on this planet. Plus I have this theory that I've been programmed by other-dimensional entities to spread fake pseudo-revolutionary ideas, for a reason that remains somewhat obscured to me. But those beings seem quite benign, so I roll with it."
The New World Revolution is an organization based in Los Angeles, modeled after the fashion of ancient mystic schools and secret societies. Its mission: the propagation of relevant survival information for the new millennium by means of subversion and infiltration of established mainstream media channels.

The front of the organization manifests as an alternative space rock group. Wall-of-sound fuzz guitars meet electronic production. Danceable beats and psychedelic noise layers carry lyrical propaganda messages, kick-starting the listener into actively experiencing realms beyond the commonly known Three Dimensions...
NWR’s debut EP Karmakaze is currently packaged with a limited edition 50-page Comic, drawn by renowned James Mathers (poet, painter, director, world-traveler), whose art resides on collections of Nicolas Cage, Adam Horowitz, Marina Guinness, Eric Idle, etc. The 6 songs, which loosely connect and revolve around the adventures of Agent H are mixed by Sean Beavan, uber-producer from outer space (Marilyn Manson, NIN, No Doubt, System Of A Down …).
The New World Revolution is led and produced by Austrian native h3rwig Maurer (a.k.a. Agent H), a Renaissance man and multi-media artist, whose eclectic career continues to morph and transform across a wide range of territories. Recent accomplishments include an Academy Award nomination for his sound editorial work on Mel Gibson’s epic Apocalypto, a nomination for Best Original Score on the Fuel TV road flick Zen & Zero in Park City/X-Dance, his original photography being showcased alongside works of Dennis Hopper, Picasso, Basquiat and Yoko-Ono at Lladro Gallery in Beverly Hills, and the portraits of his friend Daniel Pinchbeck (hailed as the new Timothy Leary by Rolling Stone Magazine) for his recent book “2012 – Return of Quetzalcoatl”.
h3rwig Maurer a.k.a. Agent H
Growing up in Salzburg, Austria (the country that raised cultural heroes like Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and the von Trapp family), the classically trained Agent H started his musical career in the alternative punk rock scene, releasing his first self-produced album at age 16. Further explorations led into the production world and industrial sounds (extensive experiments with subliminal messages & psychotronic frequencies), then into the Electronic Music. Upon his move to the States in the early 90ies he releases numerous acid-house and techno 12"es on US as well as international labels (R&S, Zoom, Telepathic, Reachin’ Rec, City Of Angels, etc). His projects Smack3000 and Infocalypse Inc. find their way into the charts of influential DJs like John Digweed and Carl Cox, while he flunks his final piano exam at the Berklee College of Music in Boston…..
Arriving on the West Coast, h3rwig returns full circle to his heavier and more organic roots, rediscovering his love for effect pedals and guitar feedbacks. Somewhere in between deals with EMI, RCA and a few Indies for the LA-based electro-pop pioneers Mankind Liberation Front, he dedicates himself to various visual art endeavors (published in Rolling Stone, Alternative Press, etc). Further Hollywood credits include sound design on numerous projects like the controversial Passion Of The Christ, Hostel or King Of The Hill, as well as production contributions to film scores of major motion pictures (K-PAX, Ghost Ship, Cradle 2 The Grave), indie movies (Hate Crime, Zen & Zero) and Television shows (C.S.I. / CBS, Spyder Games / MTV, etc) alike.
H3rwigs' involvement in metaphysic studies and alternative philosophies find expression in his music as well as his visual art; he is actively involved in grass-roots community organizing, hosting ongoing guerrilla art events at his own Pacific N3xus Gallery in Venice Beach. Due to his belief in an inherent social function of all art, he works hard at actively contributing to the reintroduction of the Shamanic healing aspects into art and music with his latest project, the New World Revolution.
